Our new Pathway initiative supports Youth cricketers (±13-18) to transition into and progress through Adult cricket. To ensure a smooth transition, our club is implementing steps to support those Youth players that want to progress.
- Teams:
- Open 6s Team = Junior Development team (min. 5 Youth players)
- Open 4s Team = Senior Development team (min. 5 Youth players)
- Creation of a Women’s 4th team
- Training (see Training Times):
- Boys: Pathway Players will train together on Wednesday evenings
- Girls: Pathway Players will train with the Women’s teams
- Access to coaches & International players with the option to book 1:1 sessions
- Year-round practice, building on our recent winter programme
- Resources:
- Development Plans, Training & Match logs, Self-Assessment templates providing clear direction on areas of Players’ game to improve
Eligibility: 2025 U15/17/19 Youth Players that played Adult cricket in 2024, excluding those that played Men’s 1st or 2nd, or Women’s 1st.
As the season progresses, Youth team players who demonstrate progress and development may be added to the Program through a joint decision by their Team Coach(es) and the Director of Youth Cricket.
